3. Age Restrictions

Participants must be aged 18 years or older.

4. Payment and Fees

Accepted Payment Methods: Payments can be made via card payment through the Wix platform (processed via Stripe). While cash payments may be accepted upon request, card payments are preferred to ensure accurate tracking of class passes and attendance within our booking system.

5. Refunds and Cancellations

No refunds will be provided for services already paid, except in extraordinary circumstances (e.g., death, serious illness). This is subject to your rights under Australian Consumer Law, which may entitle you to a remedy if the services provided do not meet statutory guarantees.

Participants may cancel a booking up to 12 hours before the scheduled class to avoid forfeiture.

If the instructor needs to cancel a class due to an emergency, participants will be notified, and any paid passes will either be transferred to another session or refunded upon request.

6. Class Passes and Expiry

Drop-in Class Rate: AUD 20

5 Class Pass: AUD 80

8 Class Pass: AUD 130

Class passes expire on December 5th, 2024. Future class schedules and passes will be announced for the new year, and participants will be invited to purchase new packages.

7. Liability and Waivers

First-time participants are asked to complete a health questionnaire in person before attending a class. This helps assess their suitability for yoga and allows the instructor to address any concerns.

Participants acknowledge that yoga involves inherent risks, including the possibility of physical injury. By voluntarily participating in yoga classes, they do so at their own risk. Participation is entirely voluntary, and participants are free to withdraw from any class at any time if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe.

While every effort is made by Win-Yin Situation Yoga and Sound to provide a safe environment and minimize risks, participants agree not to hold the business liable for any injury, damage, or loss that occurs during or after the class, except where such injury, damage, or loss is directly caused by the negligence of Win-Yin Situation Yoga and Sound or failure to take reasonable care in providing services.

Participants are encouraged to consult their healthcare provider before attending any yoga class, especially if they have preexisting medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns.

Yoga classes, techniques, and practices taught by Win-Yin Situation Yoga and Sound are designed for general wellness and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Participants should not disregard medical advice or delay seeking it due to information or instruction given during classes.

If you experience discomfort or any health concerns during a class, please stop and seek medical advice immediately. Participation in yoga classes is entirely voluntary, and you are responsible for your own health and safety during all sessions.

10. Conduct and Studio Policies

Participants are expected to:

Arrive on time. First-time attendees should arrive a few minutes early.

Respect fellow participants and refrain from any discriminatory or violent behaviour. No hate speech, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.

All materials provided during classes, including recordings, written guides, and other content, are proprietary to Win-Yin Situation Yoga and Sound. Participants agree not to reproduce, distribute, or share any of the content without prior written permission from the business. Online content is licensed for personal use only, and participants agree not to redistribute or share materials without permission.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. By using our services, participants agree to abide by these laws and the terms outlined in this document.
