ABOUT DORI
Dori's work brings together the joy for yoga as a lifestyle and the love for our humanness. No matter how imperfect we might feel, yoga is always there in our messy mornings, in our sleepy eyes or our heavy hearts.
Her calling is to support and guide people on their yoga or sound journeys with a big compassionate heart and a playful soul, providing a safely calming environment for yogis and yogis-to-be from all walks of life.

Dori is qualified in teaching Restorative, Yin, Flow and Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra, is registered with Yoga Australia.
She loves teaching slow flowing sequences, guiding mindfulness practices and her big love rests in Restorative and Yin yoga exploring the space in between action and reaction.
Her yoga journey started in her teenage years and served initially as a superb mum & daughter activity (thanks Dori's Mum!) Initially, as many others she was attracted to yoga due to poor posture and it meant a great aid to her congenital scoliosis. However, she found much more in yoga beyond the physical aid; it showed her ways for effective stress release, body & mind awareness, to get through hardships in life, transformed her perspective, and lit a path to get to know her true self.
Originally studying under the guidance of wonderful teachers in the misty lands of the Irish, completing her first yoga teacher training in 2015, under the tradition of Krishnamacharya, from her Hungarian roots she then hopped over to the Lands Down Under and found her home in the sunny Brisbane.
As a teacher she brings her natural joy to classes and believes yoga is a lifelong journey that helps finding our real home within. Thanks to completing some spine health studies and working in the corporate area herself, she understands what it means when people spend hours and hours sitting & staring at the screen, and her classes incorporate sustainable practices & gentle flows that enhance postural health. When teaching her natural calming voice switches on so your brain can switch off.
But most importantly in her classes she will make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe and that the mood is light (never missing an opportunity for a little giggle!). Making yoga accessible to all the different bodies and helping people on their stress release and relaxation journeys.
We are all lifelong students. Dori doesn't stop in deepening her knowledge, tools and techniques. But most importantly she continues to walk her path in yoga and meditation with the guide of her teacher exploring the wisdom of yoga.
